The new MURS Alert offers the ability to monitor activity on large properties or remote locations. The MURS Alert transmitter utilizes passive infrared sensor technology that will send an alert signal to the MURS transceivers in order to notify you that someone has entered a monitored area. The MURS Alert transmitter is capable of sending 4 different alert messages to the transceiver. The alert signals will be in spoken English and are easily selected at the transmitter so that separate zones can be monitored at the same time.
The MURS Alert has many different applications; it can be used by farmers, security guards, small businesses, hunters watching game trails, greenhouse operations: any scenario that requires immediate notification when someone or something enters a monitored location. MURS allows a maximum of 2 watts of output power. This means greater range.
You will notice that we describe the range of the MURS systems as two miles. The range will be dependent on your local surroundings. We have tested units over flat ground to ranges of 4 miles. However, if you are in an urban area with many tall buildings, your range may be cut down significantly.
MURS Alert Infrared Sensor Transmitter
A small portable transmitter that can be easily set up in nearly any location to monitor and notify when someone has entered a certain area. The weatherproof transmitter operates on 6 AA batteries and will send an alert signal to the transceiver.

M538-HT Handheld Transceiver
The M538HT MURS handheld transceiver is capable of receiving an alert signal from the MURS Alert transmitter, playing a voice message when the transmitter is triggered.  It also acts as a two way intercom with other MURS based stations and portable transceivers. With this portable device, no matter where you are on your property (out back, in the shed etc.) you'll always be notified when a sensor detects something. This device operates on six (6) rechargeable AA batteries (included with purchase) and is recharged with the included plug-in charger.
